The honest version. If something is not here, get in touch.
Will this make my site lawsuit-proof?
No, and we will not tell you otherwise. No tool can guarantee that. What we do is make real accessibility fixes to your site and keep a dated record of that ongoing, good-faith effort. That record is documentation of diligence, not legal advice and not a guarantee.
If it can’t make my site lawsuit-proof, what’s the point?
Two real reasons. First, your site genuinely works better for people with disabilities, which is the right goal and is often what a complaint is about in the first place. Second, you build a paper trail. If you are ever targeted by a web accessibility claim, you can hand your attorney a dated record showing you took accessibility seriously and have been actively remediating your site, instead of ignoring it. We cannot promise any legal outcome, and this is not legal advice, but a documented good-faith effort is a far stronger position than nothing.
Do you actually fix my site, or just hide the issues behind a widget?
We make real changes to your actual Squarespace content: alt text, headings, labels, buttons, links, and ARIA. We are the opposite of an overlay. Nothing is injected at runtime that disappears when a script is removed, so a developer or a lawyer looking at your source sees corrected code.
How is this different from an accessibility overlay?
Overlay widgets patch the page in the visitor’s browser while your underlying source stays broken. Disabled users and accessibility experts have publicly objected to them. We change the real source instead, the way a careful human editor would.
What do I actually have to do?
Grant us access once by inviting us as a contributor to your Squarespace site, and from there our team does the work for you: we scan, make the fixes, and send you a report each month. You do not have to open the editor or approve each change.
How fast do you make the fixes?
We complete the initial round of fixes typically within five business days of getting access. After that, we re-check your site every month and handle anything new.
What does it cost?
What if my site is not on Squarespace?
Right now Kat ADA is built specifically for Squarespace, so our done-for-you fixes will not apply to other platforms. You are welcome to run a free scan to see what we find, but to actually fix and monitor a site it needs to be on Squarespace.
Are there things you cannot fix?
Some things live outside your Squarespace pages, like a linked PDF menu or a third-party tool for ordering or delivery. We cannot change those, but we flag each one in your report with guidance so you know about it.
Will it slow down my site?
No. We do not add any script or plugin to your live site, so there is nothing extra for visitors to load. The fixes live in your real content.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Early-adopter pricing stays locked in for as long as your subscription is active.
